Members Night

There will be three featured speakers from amongst our members:

Frank Hovenden will present “An Introduction to the Natural History of the Comox Valley” - a brief overview of the history & ecology of the Valley, what makes it unique and the challenges in sustaining its natural systems.

Chris Carter will take us on visit to Cathedral Lakes Provincial Park with images of the spectacular landscapes, animals, flowers and lichens found there.

Sharon Niscak will provide a brief introduction to the distribution of the traditional Garry oak meadows and will explore the cultural importance of camas in traditional food ecology.
